The idea of conducting a study on Unguentaria in Sivas, which has been
in a very important position in terms of Anatolian cultural inventory since its
establishment, could only begin in 2021 during a period when the streets were
closed to people but the doors of the Sivas Archaeology Museum were fully open
to researchers. In this context, we would like to thank the museum staff for their
spiritual support during the conducted studies. We also express our gratitude
to Teoman KARACA, the Director of Sivas Provincial Directorate of Culture
and Tourism, for his assistance in obtaining the necessary permits during the
challenging period when the documentation studies coincided with the pandemic.
Furthermore, we would like to thank the undergraduate and graduate students
who showed their learning and working diligence, and effort during the study.
As of 2023, we hope that this study, which we have had the opportunity to
present, will benefit the archaeology field.
